Tacoma Tide FC Announces Friendly with Seattle Pacific University

Tide FC travels to Interbay Stadium April 24 for an exhibition match with local college team, the Falcons of Seattle Pacific.

TacomaTideSports.com – Preparing for the start of USL Premier Development League play, the Tacoma Tide FC will take the field April 24 for an exhibition match against the Seattle Pacific University Falcons.

The game will be played at Interbay Stadium, the home of the Falcons, at 1pm.  Tickets for the friendly are free.

About the Tacoma Tide FC:
The longest standing Puget Sound team in USL Premier Development League, Tacoma, will turn to veteran goalkeeper, Jordan Jennings, for both leadership and defense. Jennings has trained with the Seattle Sounders FC during stints of ’09-’10. He is a graduate of Seattle University.

The Tide finished the 2009 campaign with a record of 5-7-4 in the Western Conference’s Northwest Division.

Regular-season play begins May 15, when the Tide FC heads to Bremerton take on its local rival, the Kitsap Pumas. The home opener for the Tide, at Curtis High School Stadium (University Place, WA), is May 28 at 7:30pm against Yakima Reds.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
