The Tide began the season with two tough games in Yakima and Spokane . Now, they return to the friendly confines of Curtis High School , their home stadium. Tacoma FC will take on the Ogden Outlaws Friday night in their first home game of the year. The team is excited to get back to a quick surface (turf), and a flat surface (turf); contrary to the fields on the team’s road trip.

 The home opener is Friday night at 7:00, at Curtis HS. The following night, the Tide will take on the BYU Cougars. Before Saturday’s match up, there will be plenty for fans to enjoy as an appetizer. First, a Tyee Cup (youth tournament) game will be played at 5:00pm. The game will pit two of the top teams from South Puget Sound youth soccer. At 6:00pm the Tacoma Tide will host a FREE ICE CREAM SOCIAL. In the stadium, anyone who’s purchased a ticket to the game is invited to FREE ice cream and a chance to meet team personnel. In addition to the weekend festivities, the South Hill Soccer Club will be honored at halftime and serve as honored guests both nights.
