Howes’ experience in competing for the United States National Team and numerous indoor soccer accolades is only equaled by his representation of our National Futsal team in the World Championships. Two former members of the Tacoma Tide have received an exciting opportunity to train with the Seattle Sounders FC for the 2009 Training Camp. This camp will give them the chance to show what they can do among MLS Veterans and newcomers jockeying for a spot on the ’09 roster. Jennings (goalkeeper) spent ’06,’07, & ’08 with the Tacoma Tide, while Fishbaugher (midfielder/defender) spent ’07 with the Tide. To see their stats while with the Tide, click HERE. New Ownership For Seattle Sounders Women
Rafael Cox Invited to MLS Combine
Rafael, 1 of 65 college seniors selected throughout the nation.

Rafael Cox is part of a very prestigious list of college soccer players across the United States. Cox, a former Tacoma Tide FC standout & University of Washington star, is one of 65 college seniors from 45 Division 1 schools that has been invited to participate in the 2009 adidas MLS Player Combine. Cox, a midfielder from Tacoma, Wash., culminated his collegiate career at UW this past fall and was a first-team All-Pac-10 honoree.

Tide Has New Puget Sound Rivals
Kitsap & Seattle enter the PDL

There are 4 new teams in the Northwest Division to join the 2008 Division Champion, Tacoma Tide FC. The NW Division says goodbye to Ogden and BYU, the two southernmost teams from the Division last year. In the Utah teams’ place, are Victoria (BC), Portland, Seattle, and Kitsap.
