This week, the Tacoma Tide took to the beach and netted the Tide’s new mascot, Surf Dude. Some of the personality behind the Surf Dude was uncovered. Here is a taste of what Surf Dude brings to Tacoma’s own soccer franchise.

 Surfing and soccer, duh!

 Totally the Tacoma Tide-They rock!

 Ocean Blue

 Still looking for that special dudette to hang ten with.

How do you keep your hair so wavy?
 Salt water and a big comb!

What are your favorite surf spots?
 North Shore and the Puget Sound-killer waves dude!

Do you have any siblings?
 Two brothers-Big Dude and Bigger Dude

Who are the biggest influences in your life?
 The San Diego Chicken and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

What is your favorite food?
 Pizza of course!
